“I am a busy executive in full time employment who recently
decided that there was something missing in my life.
As a trainer and coach for most of my working life, I love working with people and relating.
As a result of the first lockdown, I decided I would look for something else to occupy my mind during the hours
of the day left over after exercise and my full time role. I was drawn to the idea of hypnotherapy and helping others and
so began to research what was available. There are many companies and sites around Australia who make
numerous claims about how good, how quick and how effective they are in this space. Closer research will determine
that many are just “Tick and Flick” type courses with no real experiential learning opportunity.
I spent much time pondering the right choice until I came upon Hypnotherapy Training Australia (HTA). Upon reading
their web pages and further researching some of the original founders I liked what I read. I reached out to Kaz and
had a pleasant on-line chat about what my objectives were and what HTA could deliver.
It was very clear Kaz has a true passion for quality and successful outcomes for her students.
In short she really really cares. Like many businesses, HTA was adapting to new Covid rules and as such
was developing their normally F2F program into a complete online solution.
I decided to go with HTA and immediately after I submitted payment, I was enrolled in the student
portal and given access to the materials for learning and assessments. It is a self paced program allowing
you to adapt to the other things going on in your life. I have ploughed through many of the units but
have enjoyed the instant access I can get from Kaz when I have a question or need some direction.
I feel like I am more than a “number” which is what other training programs treat you as.
With HTA I feel like I am part of a bigger family. With much of the assignment work done, I have
now begun to attend the weekend classroom sessions. Whilst we are all adapting to Zoom and Teams and
other digital solutions, the first class I attended in this way was awesome. I felt like I was in the room
with all the other classmates. We used break out rooms to role play and had some great robust
discussions just as we might if we were in the same room. The materials are well thought out and easy to follow
and it is clear that the trainers and directors have an amazing knowledge base to share. Better than that
though it is clear that all are top shelf carers and therapists and very successful in their own right.
Kaz’ passion is for HTA to always turn out amazing therapists and I am honoured to be counted as one of those.
I would recommend HTA for anyone considering this amazing subject.
Great Job Kaz, keep up the good work!”
